Product Description
KREBS (KU) CALIBRATION OIL FLUIDS
Specifically formulated for the paint and coatings industry, they are indispensable to verify and perform calibration of our KREBS viscometer, model VK 2000.
Supplied in 500 ml bottles tamper evident sealed. 2 year shelf life.
Accuracy 1% of viscosity nominal value stated in calibration certificate.
KREBS calibration oil fluids, 100% hydrocarbon, are certified to international standards.
In addition to the viscosity values in KREBS units, certificate quotes values in cSt (mm2/s)y mPas(cP).
One or two KREBS calibration oil fluids should be sufficient to verify calibration of instrument.
Corresponding calibration certificates supplied together indicate real viscosity values (no extrapolations) at 20ºC, 21ºC, 22ºC, 23ºC, 24ºC and 25ºC. We recommend using for the calibration of our instruments the value at 24ºC.

Trusted Calibration for Reliable ResultsKREBS (KU) Calibration Oil Fluids are developed to meet stringent laboratory and industrial requirements. With direct traceability to recognized standards, these fluids ensure your viscometers provide trustworthy and consistent measurements, supporting your quality assurance processes.
Consistent Performance and Ready-to-UseEach bottle delivers precise, repeatable viscosity, thanks to careful formulation from high-purity mineral oils. The ready-to-use format minimizes preparation time, letting you focus on calibration, verification, and routine measurements without additional processing.
Optimal Storage and LongevityThese calibration oils should be stored at room temperature, tightly sealed, to maintain their properties. When kept unopened, their shelf life ranges from one to two years, allowing for advanced procurement and inventory management without risk of product degradation.
FAQs of KREBS (KU) CALIBRATION OIL FLUIDS:
Q: How should KREBS (KU) Calibration Oil Fluids be stored for maximum shelf life?
A: For optimal shelf life, store the fluids at room temperature in tightly sealed containers, away from direct sunlight. Unopened bottles typically remain stable and effective for one to two years.
Q: What is the intended use of these calibration oil fluids?
A: KREBS (KU) Calibration Oil Fluids are specifically designed for calibration, verification, and maintenance of Krebs (KU) Viscometers in quality control, research, and routine laboratory settings.
Q: When should I use these fluids for calibration or verification?
A: Use the calibration oil fluids whenever you need to check, calibrate, or certify the accuracy and consistency of your Krebs Viscometer, such as before commencing critical measurements or during routine instrument checks.
Q: Where are these calibration fluids manufactured and supplied from?
A: These fluids are manufactured, exported, and supplied from India, making them widely accessible for international as well as domestic customers.
Q: What are the key benefits of using these calibration oils?
A: These fluids provide a high degree of accuracy (1% KU of the label value), traceability to national/international standards, compatibility with all standard Krebs Viscometers, and ready-to-use convenience, supporting both compliance and operational efficiency.
Q: How do I select the correct grade or viscosity standard for my needs?
A: Choose the grade based on your instruments required measurement range, typically between 40 to 140 KU. The color of the fluidlight or dark ambercorresponds to the specific grade and viscosity.
Q: What sizes are available, and how do I know which to order?
A: KREBS (KU) Calibration Oil Fluids are available in 500 ml, 1 Litre, and 5 Litre bottles. Select the size suited to the frequency of your calibration work and laboratory requirements.
