Product Description
Conical Bottom 5.0ml Microcentrifuge Tubes
- Made from high-quality polypropylene, these 5.0ml centrifuge tubes can endure up to 25000xg of centrifugal force.
- We manufacture these tubes in a Class 100,000 clean room. So, the 5 ml microcentrifuge tubes are free of human DNA, RNase, and DNase.
- They are also nonpyrogenic and confer to the latest PCR purity standards.
- These tubes have leak-proof snap cap locks. It can keep the samples sealed from -86°C to 80°C. You can use an additional cap lock (Cat.# CL25) for better sealing above 80C. It will prevent the cap from popping up during the process.

FAQs of Conical Bottom 5.0ml Microcentrifuge Tubes:
Q: How are the Conical Bottom 5.0ml Microcentrifuge Tubes used in the laboratory?
A: They are utilized for storing, mixing, and centrifuging biological or chemical samples, offering precise capacity measurements and reliable containment, especially in processes requiring leak prevention or sterile conditions.
Q: What benefits does the screw cap with optional O-ring provide?
A: The screw cap ensures a secure, leak-proof seal during sample handling. Adding the O-ring further enhances resistance to leaks, making the tube ideal for rigorous centrifugation and transport.
Q: When should I choose the sterile variant of these tubes?
A: Select the sterile option when working with sensitive biological samples, such as cell cultures or nucleic acids, where contamination could compromise experiment outcomes.
Q: Where are these microcentrifuge tubes typically manufactured and supplied from?
A: These tubes are typically manufactured, exported, and supplied by companies based in India, serving laboratories locally and internationally as suppliers, traders, or manufacturers.
Q: What is the process for autoclaving these microcentrifuge tubes?
A: Since the tubes are made of medical-grade polypropylene and are autoclavable, they can be sterilized by exposing them to steam at 121C, following your standard laboratory autoclaving procedures.
Q: How does the high chemical resistance benefit laboratory operations?
A: High chemical resistance ensures that the tubes remain unaffected when exposed to common laboratory chemicals, preserving sample integrity and tube longevity across various experimental protocols.
