Product Description
The NACGHA tube furnaces use free radiating wire elements embedded within the insulation of the furnace body. The benefit of this design is its flexibility; with the use of tube adapters the same furnace can be used with a variety of tube diameters.
This range of tube furnaces does not include an integral work tube and one must be selected as an additional item. The work tube length is dependent on the application eg for use with modified atmosphere or vacuum. The use of a separate work tube has the advantage of protecting the heating elements from damage or contamination.
For versatile operation, either vertically or horizonally, the NACGVA Tube Furnaces are mounted on a 'Versatile' stand.

FAQs of NACGHA - Single Zone Horizontal Tube Furnaces :
Q: How is temperature regulated in the NACGHA Single Zone Horizontal Tube Furnace?
A: Temperature control is managed by a microprocessor-based PID controller, which ensures precise and stable heating. The digital display allows real-time monitoring, ensuring temperatures are maintained within an accuracy of 1C throughout your chosen range (ambient to 1500C).
Q: What safety features are included in this furnace model?
A: This furnace incorporates essential safety mechanisms including an auto cutoff system, a door safety switch to prevent unsafe operation, and an overheat alarm. These features work together to protect both the user and the equipment during operation.
Q: When should I choose Quartz versus Alumina tubes for this furnace?
A: Quartz tubes are recommended for applications requiring chemical resistance at lower to moderate temperatures, while alumina tubes are preferred for high-temperature operations due to their superior thermal stability and mechanical strength.
Q: Where can this furnace be used effectively?
A: The NACGHA Single Zone Horizontal Tube Furnace is ideal for laboratory research, educational institutes, and varied industrial settings where reliable, high-temperature processing and uniform heating are crucial.
Q: What is the advantage of natural air cooling in this furnace?
A: The natural air cooling system maintains post-operation safety and preserves furnace longevity by gradually dissipating heat, thereby minimizing thermal shock and maintenance requirements.
Q: How can the furnace be customized for specific applications?
A: Available customizations include adjusting tube diameter (up to 150 mm), chamber length (300 mm to 1200 mm), and capacity (1 kg to 15 kg). Selection of thermocouple type (K or S) and tube material (Quartz or Alumina) allows users to tailor the furnace to specific operational needs.
Q: What benefits does single zone, uniform heating provide?
A: Single zone heating ensures consistent temperature distribution across the sample area, which is essential for experiments or processes requiring uniform thermal treatment and reproducibility of results.
